New name, same courses
UNITAR POCI is now the Peace Operations Training Institute. We are pleased to continue to provide all the same training courses on peacekeeping as we have done for the past fifteen years and as was recently welcomed by the United Nations Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations (C34). Here is what you should know:
- We still offer the same courses.
- Your existing enrolments are still valid.
- We are still accepting new enrolments under our new name.
We are working hard to make this a quick and smooth transition. In the meantime, you may continue to see the name “UNITAR POCI” in some places. Thank you for your support.
The Peace Operations Training Institute offers low-cost distance training on peacekeeping to a wide variety of personnel serving on missions. Based on your personnel category, please choose an appropriate link below:
- I am one of the following: Formed military contingent, MILOBS - Military Observer, UNPOL - UN Police, UN Volunteer (UNV) serving at MINURSO.
- I am one of the following: National Staff Member serving at MINURSO.
- I am one of the following: Other International Staff, UN Professional Staff (P), UN General Service Staff (GS), Military Staff Officer, International Contractor (IC) serving at MINURSO.
If you previously enrolled in courses through your Training Focal Point (TFP) or your Mission’s Integrated Distance Learning Programme (IDLP), then please click here to take your End-of-Course Examination.
